    Black Hills Estate Winery is located between Oliver and Osoyoos, British Columbia. The vineyard is nestled in the sun-burnt hills on the Black Sage Bench, home to British Columbia’s highest quality vinifera grapes. The rugged desert earth, long sunlight hours and cool nights yield the intensely flavourful grapes that we blend to produce our Bordeaux-style Nota Bene, our Sauvignon Blanc / Semillon blend Alibi, and our late harvest Sequentia wines. Our grapes are hand-picked and brought from our vineyard to our winery where they are sorted, destemmed, slowly fermented and then pressed into oak barrels to produce our high quality hand-crafted wines.

    Specializing in single vineyard, small lot releases.  Black Widow Winery is ideally situated on the scenic Naramata Bench.  Our northern desert micro-climate, south-west exposure, and low tonnage viticulture combine to produce intense wines from fully ripened grapes.

  5. Blasted Church Vineyards
    Perched high on a rolling hillside that cascades into Skaha Lake, this is undoubtedly one of the most majestic vineyard sites in the valley. It is also one of the most desirable, with some of the region’s most ideal topography and attractive microclimate. Now into its second decade of grape production, our vineyard has long been a choice purveyor of premium quality grapes to many of British Columbia’s leading wineries. Nearly all of our estate harvest is now dedicated to the production of fine wines.

    The Burrowing Owl Estate Winery site is perched on a hillside on an eastern bench of the South Okanagan.  It had its first commercial wine release in 1997.  The winery has received widespread accolades for its wines, particularly its red vintages, resulting annually in sold-out inventory. Burrowing Owl also features a 10 room guest house and a four-star restaurant, The Sonora Room, offering full lunch and dinner service as well as afternoon tapas.

    The original seven-acre vineyard is currently in the process of being expanded to twenty-two acres. Sal D’Angelo, founder and owner of the D’Angelo Estate Winery, and his son Chris maintain the vineyards already in production as they the expand vineyard areas with new development. Winemaking has been a D’Angelo family tradition for generations and goes all the way back to Italy where Sal was born.

  12. Desert Hills Estate Winery
    Desert Hills Winery, the best award wining wines in the Okanagnan BC. The Wine Capital of Canada, Oliver, BC is home to a premiere terroir known as the Black Sage Bench. It is here in the sun-soaked desert climate of the south Okanagan that you find our 24 acre vineyard and family owned estate winery. This estate was purchased by our family in 1988 and the planting of Vitis Vineifera were introduced in 1995. Today the vineyard is in full production with planting of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Gamay, Malbec, Merlot and Pinot Gris. Our family has hand selected this gentle east to west sloping property for is natural attributes to potentially deliver some of Canada’s finest grapes.

  13. Dunham & Froese Estate Winery
    Dunham & Froese released thier first wine in the fall of 2006. The release was anxiously anticipated as the Coverts have been growing quality fruit in the Oliver area for well over a quarter of a century. Kirby Froese is a well respected winemaker who, after working in wineries in Australia, Chile, and California returned to British Columbia, where he worked at Sumac Ridge, Hawthorn Mountain, Red Rooster and Hester Creek. Dunham and Froese wines can be found in select fine restaurants and wine shops.

    Fairview Cellars is located between the driving range and the first hole of the Fairview Mountain Golf Course at the north end of the Golden Mile in Oliver, BC. The vineyard and winery are a culmination of a 25-year quest by Bill Eggert to own and operate his own winery. Fairview Cellars wines consist of the three Bordeaux classics: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot. The wines are barrel aged in an underground cellar then blended to marry the various attributes of each grape.

    Forbidden Fruit Winery is located on Ven ‘Amour Organic Farms, a 147 acre certified organic tree fruit farm and nature estate. The winery is exclusive in using 100% certified organic tree fruits grown in the Similkameen Valley. The winery has contracted the wine making services of Bacchus International, a group of 3 well known wine makers, headed by Canadian raised and B. C. trained, fruit wine specialist, Dominic Rivard.

    New owners Stella Schmidt and Bruno Kelle bought the facility and vineyards formerly known as Gersighel Wineberg. The proprietors, Calgary businesspeople who escaped to the Okanagan, chose the name Golden Beaver because it was fun, Canadian and unique.

    Golden Mile Cellars was purchased by Mick and Pam Luckhurst of Vancouver Island in 2003. The unique castle winery sits high up on the Western slopes of the South Okanagan.  The wines produced at Golden Mile have been steadily gaining attention under the care of winemaker Michael Bartier.

    Hillside Estate Winery’s legacy began in 1984 when the old apricot orchard was replaced with grapevines. In 1989, Hillside lobbied the BC government in order to produce and sell their wine to the public directly from their winery. The first commercial release of a Hillside wine was the 1989 Auxerrois which received Hillside’s first VQA (Vintner’s Quality Alliance) seal of approval.  1996 saw an impressive expansion of Hillside to include a 15,000 square foot timber frame structure. Our multi-story building complete with 72-foot tower dominates the view as you drive north along Naramata Road .

    Before we were winemakers, we were sommeliers, therefore we take our cues from our favourite wines and regions of the world. At Joie , our winemaking focus is naturally balanced white and rosé wines – the result of the unique macroclimate of the Mountain-cradled, lake-moderated landscape of the Okanagan Valley.

    Drawing its name from the Kettle Valley Railway, which traveled through the Naramata area on the east side of Okanagan Lake, the winery opened to the public in 1996.  Kettle Valley Winery is known for it’s dark, intense and well structured red wines, including Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and blends such as “Old Main Red”.  Chardonnay has been the main white wine produced, but in recent years Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc have also proved popular.  They are all flavourful and aromatic, with a rich mouth feel.

  28. La Frenz Estate Winery
    La Frenz Winery was opened by Niva and Jeff Martin in 1999, after 20 years of producing internationally acclaimed wines in both Australia and British Columbia. Their wines are well known for being intensely fruit forward with layering and complexity. The varietals include Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Semillon, Chardonnay, Shiraz, Viognier.

    Lake Breeze Vineyards is located in Naramata, British Columbia, 12 kilometres north of Penticton on Naramata Road in the sourth central Okanagan Valley.  We have 17 acres under vine and grow nine different varietals including pinot blanc, semillon, merlot and cabernet franc. Our annual production is currently 6,000 cases making us a relatively small winery. At Lake Breeze, we believe in taking the natural fruit flavours of the grape and transferring them to the bottle with the minimum amount of manipulation. Through careful and meticulous vineyard management, we produce fruit of the highest quality in order to create our special collection of wines.

    High up on the hillside of the Naramata Bench sits Lang Vineyards. Regarded as the first ‘Farm gate Winery’, Lang Vineyards opened their door in 1990 and has grown from its humble beginning into one of the Okanagan’s foremost boutique wineries. The wines are unique and individual specialties, hand crafted from the ground up.

    Welcome to Le Vieux Pin, named after the old pine on the North-West corner of our vineyard. We make our wines in the French tradition but with the latest in equipment and technique. The winery takes its design cues from both an old French barn and an old French railway station. It’s Provence in our province.     Nk’Mip Cellars (Pronounced in-ka-meep) is North America’s first Aboriginal owned and operated winery…and it has some of the most spectacular views in the Okanagan.  This lakeside property is located on 1,200 acres of band land located in the town of Osoyoos. This southern Okanagan area is home to Canada’s only pocket desert. With some of the most spectacular views in the Okanagan, this region is well known for its long, hot summer days and cool nights, mild winters and minimum rainfall. All of these factors contribute to this fabulous grape-growing region. The 18,000 square foot winery has the capacity to produce 18,000 cases or 162,000 litres. The winery is equipped to handle approximately 60% red grapes and 40% white. The varietals currently produced are Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Syrah, Meritage and Riesling Icewine. These grapes come from the Band’s own Inkameep Vineyard as well as the vineyard located adjacent to the winery.

  37. Noble Ridge Vineyard & Winery
    Noble Ridge Vineyard & Winery is nestled in the northern tip of a pocket desert in the southern Okanagan Valley in beautiful British Columbia. The name of the vineyard is inspired by the ridge and by the noble grape varieties being grown. The southern slopes, with greater exposure to the sun, are ideal for Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot varieties, which were initially planted in 1986. In 2001, Pinot Noir was also planted.   38. Oliver Twist Estate Winery
    Our 17 acre family estate vineyard is located on the desired Black Sage Bench in Oliver, British Columbia, Wine Capital of Canada.  Bruce and Denice Hagerman purchased the picture perfect orchard in 2002.  Fall, 2005 saw the trees being pulled out; Spring, 2006 the land was prepared and in May planted with 27,000 French vinifera vines.

    Osoyoos Larose is a joint venture between Vincor (a Canadian company) and the French company, Groupe Taillan. The product is an ultra-premium red blend with five Bordeaux varietals (a red meritage) called Le Grand Vin.

  43. Poplar Grove Winery
    Poplar Grove began as a hobby with a couple of buddies.  Around 1986, Ian Sutherland began collecting wines, focusing on the Bordeaux region and with the help of the consultants he gained confidence, branching out and establishing a decent wine cellar. His dream in those days was to own a little piece of property and to have a few rows of grapes with which to make wines for himself and friends. Be careful what you wish for.  Over the past ten years, Poplar Grove has helped bring the Okanagan Valley to the wine world’s attention.  We did it by consistently producing impressive wines from our Naramata Bench Estate. We are Canada’s first and only purveyor of wine and cheese.

  44. Quinta Ferreira Estate Winery
    Quinta Ferreira Estate Winery is located in the heart of Oliver, British Columbia; a community which is recognized as the Wine Capital of Canada. Our 20 acres of vineyard and winery are located on the Black Sage Bench with a breathtaking view of the landscape and a fabulous vision overlooking the community. Our winery is owned and operated by John and Maria Ferreira; both born in Portugal, immigrated to Canada with their families at a young age. We purchased this estate in 1979 as an orchard where we grew cherries, peaches and apples. Coming from a Portuguese heritage our passion of wine led us to convert our orchard into a vineyard after 20 years in production and packaging of fruit. The conversion of fruit to wine was done over a three-year period with the first merlot and chardonnay grapes being planted in 1999, additional varietals followed. Our landscape and fabulous soil have allowed for us to have optimal growing conditions for grapes. The Black Sage Bench is well-known for producing excellent quality grapes due to desert climate temperatures and desert terrain.  These conditions allow for us to produce fabulous wines. Today our vineyard is in full production featuring varietals including Merlot, Chardonnay, Syrah, Viognier, Melbec and most recent Zinfandel and Petit Verdot.

  45. Red Rooster Winery 32121 Restaurant
    Red Rooster Winery was founded by an energetic entrepreneurial couple from Switzerland who purchased an orchard in Naramata in 1990, but soon saw an opportunity in the Okanagan’s rapidly growing wine industry. They converted the orchard to vines, and the winery’s first vintage was in 1997, and was produced at the original winery site just outside the town of Naramata. Soon after opening the original location, the quality of award-winning wines and legendary hospitality was creating a bottle neck of welcome traffic at the tiny premises. The solution was a new winery, which opened in 2004, just 10 minutes south of the original location. The winery is not hard to find, just a few minutes outside Penticton on Naramata Road. The site is charmingly rural and boasts fabulous lake and mountain views. There are two buildings on site, one dedicated to producing wine, and one dedicated to hospitality for the enjoyment of our guests. Our Hospitality building allows our guests to discover and taste our wines, explore wonderful works of art from local artists in our own gallery and to enjoy lunch from our picturesque patio.

    In 1996 the Cottrill Family had a dream to turn the rocks and weeds of this ridge into luscious grapes and ultimately their fine wines.  The pursuit of a great berry transformed into the perfect wine is the constant pursuit of Robin Ridge Winery and they invite you to take as much pleasure in their wine as they do in creating it.

    See Ya Later Ranch is located outside of the town of Okanagan Falls, British Columbia in an atmosphere of old world timelessness. The winery’s tasting room and wine shop are housed in the estate’s well-restored, heritage stone home, which dates back to the early 1900s. A patio offers visitors a place to relax while taking in the spectacular view. The wine shop and tasting room are open year-round, and tours of the winery are offered May to October. The winery produces premium varietals that include Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, Riesling, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Meritage, Semillon,Icewine, and a classical method Brut. Vineyards 171 acres of estate vineyard with 101 acres planted. The Hawthorne Mountain Vineyard has the largest planting of Gewürztraminer in North America, with 65 acres planted to this aromatic, cool climate varietal.

    Seven Stones Winery cultivates 17 acres of bench land overlooking British Columbia’s spectacular Similkameen River Valley. In 2000 and 2001 the estate vineyard was planted with Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Syrah and followed up with a new planting last year of Petit Verdot.  Co- proprietors Vivianne and George Hanson have developed a solid reputation for growing and selling exceptional quality fruit from the site. The wine style George Hanson has created captures this amazing terroir and makes for serious, complex wines needing serious attention.

    Located near Keremeos, the winery has operated since 1978 under the direction of Winemaker Joe Ritlop. The slopes of the River are the homes of St Lazlo’s vineyards. The wines are organically produced from the vine to the bottle. The wines have a full body style. Grape varieties include Tokay, Perle of Csbade, Chaunac and Verdelet Icewines are produced too. The winery also produces some sensational tasting fruit wines.

    Stag’s Hollow is a small family operated winery, owned by Linda Pruegger and Larry Gerelus. The varietals grown are Merlot, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Vidal. Larry & Linda believe their passion and involvement in every aspect of the vineyard and winemaking process, finds its way into the richness of Stag’s Hollow’s wines.

    Stoneboat Vineyards is a small winery in the South Okanagan region of British Columbia Canada. 2007 marks the release of its first vintage (2005), although the proprietors have grown grapes in the South Okanagan for nearly 25 years. Stoneboat Vineyards specializes in producing Pinot varietals (Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris) as well as Pinotage.

    The vineyards of Tinhorn Creek Vineyards are located on two spectacular benches above the South Okanagan Valley. On the west side of the valley is the Golden Mile Bench. On the east side is the Black Sage Bench. The wines win top awards in national and international competitions.  The self-guided tour of the winery and vineyard enables visitors to stay as long as they wish and provides ample learning opportunities about the winemaking process. Our friendly and educational wine shop staff will answer any questions you may have after your tour.     Township 7 has earned an exceptional reputation for the award-winning quality of its wine and Mike Raffan is committed to maintaining that quality with the assistance of Township 7’s wine maker, Brad Cooper.  Aside from the vineyards in Langley and on the Naramata Bench, grapes for our wines are grown in the Oliver area of British Columbia, a world-renowned location for growing grapes for the more full-bodied Merlots, Cabernet Sauvignons, Syrahs and Chardonnays that Township 7 produces. Township 7 Vineyards and Winery’s offerings include Un-Oaked Chardonnay, a barrel aged Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot/Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, a method traditionelle sparkling wine made from 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir, and a late harvest dessert wine.  Township 7 focuses on the production of small lots of high quality wines made from carefully chosen grapes from the Okanagan Valley and from our vineyards in Langley and Penticton.  Our family owned and operated winery is committed to creating exceptional wines that are complex, flavourful and well balanced.

    We are Twisted Tree Vineyards and Winery, a family owned winery that produces small quantities of hand crafted, premium wines. We are located on the east bench above Lake Osoyoos in the South Okanagan region of British Columbia, where we enjoy not only the benefits of one of the best viticultural sites in the valley, but also spectacular panoramic views of Osoyoos Lake and the surrounding town of Osoyoos.  We make only small quantities of wine each year in order to ensure that we remain the hands-on winemakers we want to be, able to provide the care and attention necessary to make the best wine possible.

  63. Willow Hill Wines
    Our vineyards are located in the Golden Mile of the southern Okanagan Valley, the finest grape growing area in Canada.  We produce icewine.  Willow Hill Vineyards is situated in one of the few areas in the world where the summers are hot enough to ripen red vinifera grapes and the winters are cold enough to freeze the grapes on the vine.
